The Chronomat holds a significant place in Breitling’s history. Introduced in 1984, at a time where extra-thin quartz timepieces were the order of the day, Breitling placed a bold bet on an impressively proportioned mechanical watch. It celebrated Breitling’s centenary in style and marked the return of the mechanical chronograph to its rightfully prominent place at the brand which had built its global reputation on these incredible watches.

As stunning to look at as it is exhilarating to wear, the Chronomat B01 Oceania Limited Edition features a matte ‘arctic’ white dial with black subdials for superlative functionality and legibility. Encasing the bold monochromatic dial is a robust stainless-steel case sporting the signature Chronomat rider tabs. Only 140 of this region-specific timepiece will be put into production.​

Note the discreet “One of 140” engraving on the exhibition caseback as a subtle nod to this release’s exclusivity.
