The Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month features a case, crown, pushers, and bracelet made from Ceratanium®—a material that combines titanium’s lightness with ceramic’s hardness and scratch resistance. The components are machined and kiln-fired, giving them ceramic properties and a matte black finish. A polished black ceramic bezel with a tachymeter scale allows speed measurement over one kilometer. The black dial, with a hammered texture and technical subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock, includes Super-LumiNova®-filled indices and hands for legibility.

The perpetual calendar shows date and month via large golden discs, inspired by IWC’s 1880s Pallweber pocket watches. Two gear trains manage the complex digital display: one advances the date daily, while the other stores energy to change the month and leap year display. The calendar automatically accounts for varying month lengths and leap years and is adjustable via the crown.

Inside is IWC’s 89802 calibre with 474 components. It powers a chronograph with combined hours and minutes at 12 o’clock, and a double-pawl winding system offers a 68-hour power reserve. The tinted sapphire case back reveals a blackened, skeletonized rotor and bridges.
