Detailed features & specifications
The dial, in typical Laureus blue, features the characteristic Portugieser minute scale, applied Arabic numerals, and slim feuille hands. The IWC-manufactured 59360 calibre is wound by hand and offers a high eight-day power reserve.
The functional monopusher chronograph can be started, stopped and reset via a single push button in the crown. Stop times are displayed on a counter at “12 o’clock”. The small second is located at “6 o’clock”, while the power remaining can be read using the display at “9 o’clock”.
Engraved on the back of the watch is the winning entry from the drawing competition that IWC organises each year within the worldwide Laureus projects. It was created by 15-year-old Yi Xin, who takes part in the “Special Olympics China”.
