A Vintage Dashboard

Everything on the dial of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph timepiece is reminiscent of the Jaeger counters that equip the dashboards of yesteryear’s race cars. Twin counters located at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock, and a central second counter comprise its chronograph functions. To measure speed, a tachymetric scale graduated from 60 to 500 km/h extends around the rehaut.
 

Classic Technicality

To achieve a sense of depth, the dial of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph watch possesses three finishes: an opaline rehaut, graining on the hour markers and sunray brushing in the centre. The bezel and edging of the case are polished, while the flat surfaces are brushed. The brown calfskin strap is enhanced with cream coloured top-stitching, creating a refined contrast.
 

Night Vision

With its clear, harmonious design, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph watch dial is also readable in the dark, thanks to the luminescent finish of its hands, hour markers and numerals.
