Indexes and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, a luminescent material that stores light during the day and glows when in darkness.

The stop-seconds function is very useful when setting the time: when the owner uses the crown, the second hand stops. This reset function guarantees that the time will be set precisely, with the watch set to the nearest second.
