Presenting: The Watches Of Switzerland 25th Anniversary Editions

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the ongoing support of you, our loyal and highly valued customers. Whether you have been on this journey with us since the beginning, or joined more recently, we consider it an honour and a privilege to offer you a carefully curated selection of the world’s most desirable luxury watch and accessory brands. To show our appreciation, we have collaborated closely with some of those same brands on an exclusive selection of timepieces dedicated to memorialising our 25th anniversary. Please read on for all the details about these special pieces.

Breitling Super Chronomat B01 Chronograph 44 “25th Anniversary”

Launched in 2021, the Breitling Super Chronomat has quickly become a must have favourite for Australia’s passionate watch enthusiasts. For our 25th anniversary therefore, we chose to partner with Breitling – an anchor brand since the very beginning – on a very special edition of this watch. Limited to 100 pieces and available exclusively from Watches of Switzerland boutiques, the Breitling Super Chronomat Watches of Switzerland 25 Years Edition features a unique bronze pantone for the dial. The colour is strongly associated with our brand and is unlike anything else in the Breitling range. Standing out in contrast against the warm hue of the dial are black chronograph counters with circular guilloche, matched by the black ceramic bezel insert. Luminescent indexes and hands are offset by a red chronograph hand providing excellent legibility in all conditions. The case – in stainless steel – measures 44mm in diameter by 14.45mm thick and is worn on the super comfortable Rouleaux strap in rubber with folding clasp. On the back of the watch you will find a sapphire display back with our exclusive Watches of Switzerland 25th Anniversary logo in the same bronze pantone.

Cartier Pasha de Cartier Watch “25th Anniversary”

Cartier has been another incredible partner of ours since day one, and so it is with great pride we launch this (and the below) extremely limited releases together. First is the inimitable Cartier Pasha de Cartier Watch “25th Anniversary”, which comes with a personalised engraving, matching sterling silver Pasha de Cartier cufflinks in a special Entrelacés De Cartier box with a custom Watches of Switzerland 25th anniversary plaque. Instantly recognisable on the wrist, the Pasha is one of the few round watches in the Cartier collection. Sportier in nature, and yet every bit the elegant timepiece you would expect from the Parisian jeweller, the model is denoted by its water-resistant case, four prominent Arabic numerals, a screw-down crown cap attached to the case by a small chain, and sword-shaped hands. Our “25th Anniversary” edition features an exquisitely open-worked dial with skeletonized bridges revealing the inner workings of the Calibre 9624 MC underneath.

Cartier Tank Louis Cartier Watch “25th Anniversary” Limited Edition

Our second collaboration with Cartier is somewhat more understated but no less spectacular. Presenting the Cartier Tank Louis Cartier Watch “25th Anniversary” Limited Edition, pairing a yellow gold case with a sublime black laquer dial devoid of nearly any embellishment bar the golden-finish steel sword-shaped hands and Cartier markings. An icon in every sense of the word, this is the model worn by the iconoclast Louis Cartier himself, setting the standard to be upheld by all Tank watches. With only 25 pieces in existence. This limited release comes with a special Watches of Switzerland 25th anniversary engraving on the back and is paired with semi-matte black alligator-skin strap.

Scatola del Tempo Valigetta 8 “25th Anniversary” Limited Edition and 7RT Bicolor “25th Anniversary” Limited Edition

Two very special watch boxes featured in our film “The Journey” that we created to mark our 25th Anniversary. Both were hand-crafted in Italy by our exclusive brand partner Scatola del Tempo and feature timeless designs. The Valigetta 8 “25th Anniversary” Limited Edition offers a full leather carrying case with handle for 8 watches with leather straps or bracelet suitable for regular size watches and oversize ones. While the 7RT Bicolor “25th Anniversary” Limited Edition boasts a full leather case with 3 programmable winders (driven by Swiss high-precision micro motors ) plus storage space for 4 watches with leather straps or bracelet, with an extra compartment for straps. Programmable by Bluetooth technology using an app on your smartphone, the winders operate on batteries with an average life of 3 years. These impeccable limited-edition watch boxes are a perfect Christmas gift, or an opportunity to start your own extraordinary timepiece collection journey.

Special Mention: Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro Carbotech™ Blu Abisso

Whilst not a collaboration piece per se, in recognition of our significant milestone and our long-standing partnership, Officine Panerai rewarded our valued customers with an exclusive allocation of the new Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro Carbotech™ Blu Abisso. The latest hi-tech addition to Panerai’s Submersible collection, the 44mm case of the Blu Abisso is crafted from the lightest material developed by Panerai: Carbotech™. Intended as a special nod to the Submersible’s legacy of underwater exploration, the Blu Abisso takes its name from the deep undersea blue of its dial and accompanying coordinating straps. (One rubber, and the other fabric.) Metallic appliqués filled with white Super-LumiNova™ provide vivid legibility. Importantly, the minute hand and bezel pearl glow fluorescent blue for clarity. The rest, including the small seconds show in a contrasting fluorescent green. Framing the dial is a uni-directional, 60-click rotating bezel – also in Carbotech™ – to measure submersion time.
