Timeless Innovation: Jaeger-LeCoultre Elevates the Iconic Reverso for 2025
Watches of Switzerland proudly presents Jaeger-LeCoultre‘s captivating 2025 Reverso collection – a masterful blend of Art Deco heritage and contemporary innovation.
The legendary Reverso, with its revolutionary swivelling case, continues to evolve nearly a century after its creation. Born from a practical challenge on the polo fields of colonial India in 1931, this horological icon has transcended its utilitarian origins to become one of the most distinctive and beloved watch designs in history. What began as a clever solution to protect a watch face during sport has transformed into an enduring canvas for Jaeger-LeCoultre’s artistic expression and technical virtuosity.
For 2025, La Grande Maison has crafted three remarkable new interpretations that honour the Reverso’s rich heritage while pushing its design language forward. Each piece in this collection tells a unique story – from the vintage-inspired elegance of the Monoface Small Seconds with its intricate Milanese bracelet to the worldly sophistication of the Geographic with its dual time zones, and the refined versatility of the Duoface Small Seconds with its contrasting dial options. Together, they demonstrate why the Reverso remains as relevant and coveted today as it was in the Art Deco era that shaped its distinctive aesthetic.

Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds
The Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds introduces a striking combination of materials and finishes that bring fresh allure to the timeless Reverso design. This model pairs an 18k pink gold case with a matching Milanese link bracelet – an intricate metal weave that requires no less than 16 meters of pink gold threads to create its fabric-like structure.
The golden-coloured dial features a delicate grained texture achieved through several stamping operations, offering a beautiful counterpoint to the polished shine of the case and bracelet. Applied elongated hour markers and faceted Dauphine hands add visual depth to the dial, while the circular small seconds display at six o’clock provides a subtle contrast to the linear geometry of the case.
The watch is powered by the hand-wound Calibre 822, an in-house movement that offers a power reserve of 42 hours. At just 7.56mm thick, the case maintains the sleek profile that has always been a hallmark of the Reverso design.

Reverso Tribute Geographic
The Reverso Tribute Geographic introduces an elegant yet practical world time complication to the Tribute collection, powered by a newly developed in-house movement, Calibre 834. Available in a steel case or in a limited edition of 150 pieces in 18k pink gold, this sophisticated travel watch displays the world time indication on its reverse dial.
The front dial features a sunray finish in rich blue for the steel version or chocolate brown for the pink gold model. The signature Reverso Tribute aesthetic is enhanced by a large date display framed in polished metal that matches the case, with a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock providing a circular counterpoint to the linear geometry.

Turning the watch over reveals a spectacular world time display set against the polished caseback. The steel model features details in shades of blue, while the pink gold version is complemented by black and grey elements. The construction creates remarkable visual depth with three different levels: city names engraved directly onto the caseback, a rotating 24-hour ring indicating day and night, and a central world map marked with longitudes.
The map itself is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, combining laser engraving and hand-applied lacquer. A steel disc is laser-hollowed to create the oceans, leaving land masses and meridian lines raised. Lacquer is then applied by hand using a syringe to fill the intricate shapes, creating a subtle three-dimensional effect when polished.
Both versions come with two interchangeable straps designed by Casa Fagliano, the celebrated Argentinian maker of polo and riding boots.

Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds
Celebrating the timelessness and versatility of the Reverso, Jaeger-LeCoultre presents two new versions of the Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds with a choice of pure black or vivid blue dials. These models pay homage to the coloured dials introduced on the earliest Reverso models from the 1930s.
The Duoface mechanism allows for the display of two different time zones – one on each dial. The front dial features a small seconds register at 6 o’clock, while the reverse dial displays a 24-hour/night-and-day indicator. The hand-wound Calibre 854 is ingeniously designed so that both the minutes on both dials and hours on the front dial can be adjusted by the crown, while the hours for the second time zone are adjusted by a small slider concealed in the top case-band.

The black sunray-brushed dial pays tribute to the original 1931 Reverso, while the vivid blue option recalls the early use of colour in the Reverso line. The blue dial requires exceptional craftsmanship, achieved by applying 24 layers of coloured and transparent lacquer by hand, each layer meticulously dried before the next is applied.
Both models feature the signature Reverso Tribute dial iconography with applied elongated hour markers rather than numerals, faceted Dauphine hands, and a circular small seconds track that contrasts with the linear geometry of the case. The reverse dials have been redesigned in a sleeker, more contemporary style, with a sunray-brushed background that reflects changing tones of silver as it catches the light.
Both versions come with two interchangeable Casa Fagliano-designed straps – one combining leather and canvas (inspired by the canvas-and-leather boots that Casa Fagliano makes for summer polo) and one entirely in calf leather.
